چکیده

Polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHA) producers have been found in a variety of ecological niche’s that are naturally or unintentionally exposed to high organic matter growth limiting substances such as dairy wastes, hydrocarbon contaminated sites, pulp and paper mill agricultural activated sludges treatment plants, rhizosphere, industrial effluents. Few them also create extracellular byproducts rhamnolipids, polymeric compounds, biohydrogen gas. These microbes can use waste materials various origin substrates while producing valuable bioproducts PHB. As result, these industrially important candidates for production; Implementation an integrated system separate their by-products (intracellular extracellular) could be economical method. In this study, we reviewed several microorganisms live diverse environmental situations stimulated collect carbon polyhydroxyalkanoates granules, well variables influence production composition. Ultimately, the current cost bioplastic manufacture from stored PHA granules decreased by investigating capabilities dual generation utilization wastes renewable substrate under optimal conditions either batch continuous process.

Production of polyhydroxyalkanoate biopolymer from vinasse using Ralstonia eutropha

Background Brazil is the world’s leading ethanol producer and exporter. Due to increasing fuel demands, ethanol production has escalated in recent years. Vinasse is generated as a byproduct of the ethanol industry and is mainly used as fertilizer. The excessive usage of vinasse in soil leads to groundwater contamination [1]. The objective of this project is to develop a fermentation process wit...

Production of eukaryotic antimicrobial peptides by bacteria – A review

The alarming increase in incidence of multidrug-resistant, pathogenic bacteria, the paucity in the discovery of new antibiotic leads, and the resulting public health risk have recently heightened interest in naturally occurring antimicrobial peptides (AMPs) as potential novel therapeutics. [1, 2] Higher organisms are equipped with an innate immune system that allows them to fight invading patho...
